REMEMBERING ZAQ NUNLEY

Zaq has supported our company, The Dancing Bear Tribe since the beginning. He was not only a supporter of our art, but we shared a stage with him more times than we could count. We loved his unmatchable energy and things will never be the same without him. Zaq passed away just days before MWBF 21, where he was to take the stage with both of his bands, Heavy Step Dub Collective & Eureka Strings. The festival became more of a celebration of his life as we gathered to remember him. Words really cannot express how difficult it has been to move forward and process the loss of such an amazing man, friend, father, and musician. We will continue to honor his memory with every MWBF we host. ~~~ Never Forgotton, Forever Missed.~~~
The Dancing Bear Tribe is hosting Midwest Bearfest 2021, September 2nd - 5th in Waynesville, MO at The Pulaski County Shriner's Camp! We are so excited to host a family friendly Performing Arts & Music Festival! Thank you so much to everyone who has believed in us, supported us, & showed us love year after year! ABOUT THE VENUE :
The Pulaski County Fort Leonard Wood Shrine Club and Park is the largest outdoor venue within 80 miles and serves as the hub for various gatherings of all types! This facility offers over 50 acres of land, primitive RV, & shaded camping areas, large shower house, pavilions, stages, club house, restaurant and the newly added RV Park. There are gaming tables & a full bar inside of the on-site Shriner Clubhouse.
This campground is part of the Pulaski County Shrine Club so, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children in addition to the raffle we will be hosting to raise money. (If you would like to contribute to the raffle, please let us know by email.)
